Manages the human resource function of Company. The major areas of accountability include organizational planning, organizational development, talent acquisition, talent development and implementation of programs and processes that support a growing employee population, training, employee relations, and compensation. Serves as part of the China leadership team to develop and implement programs, processes, policies and strategies that help attract and retain top talent throughout China. Will also provide some HR support to countries within the region as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consulting & Business Partnering
·Work closely with Managing Director China and other functional leaders in China to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives.
·Partner with business leaders to improve organizational effectiveness by diagnosing issues in the workplace and identifying appropriate strategies to resolve problems, improve team performance and development of plans to support the business needs with value-added solutions.
·Provide guidance and coaching around organization design/re-structure/development, workforce planning and local employment law.
·Work with Leadership to address underperformance as necessary in a timely and efficient manner and in line with Cantel values.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
·Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to source, recruit, interview and select candidates for open positions.
·Coach and train hiring managers on recruitment process and interview skills
·Plan and conducts new employee orientation and on-boarding as well as new leader transition facilitation.
Talent Management, Learning & Development
·Collaborate with Regional HR Manager Asia and Talent Management Center of Excellence to implement Performance Management, Development Planning, Culture Assessment and Development, Succession Planning/Talent Review, Learning & Development, Organizational Planning and Development.
·Understand global processes and effectively implements in partnership with leaders.
Compensation and Benefits:
·Work closely with Regional HR Manager Asia and key accountable person in China to collaborate with compensation center of excellence in the development and implementation of compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition schemes, as well as competitive wages and salary structure.
·Periodically review the compensation scheme for positions in China to remain competitiveness within the market. Make sure that we could retain and attract the talent needed to achieve our strategic goals.
·Provide guidance to line management （coaching, counselling, career development and disciplinary actions）。
·Provide HR policy guidance an interpretation to equip managers to operate independently and effectively manage their talent.
·Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies and procedures based on local law and corporate guidelines.
·Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field; advanced degree a plus
·Solid HR generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, benefits, organizational planning and developoment, employee relations, and training and development.
·Minimum of five years human resource generalist experience gained through increasingly responsible positions.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese is required.
